ineda is made up of a select interdisciplinary group of internationally recognised and independent experts (see Departments). These specialists have been keeping abreast of the fast-paced developments in milk production for a long period of time, and they offer critical advice and expert assistance to the various target groups and interested parties, ranging from dairy farms to vets and professional hoof carers, to the major institutions involved in all aspects of modern milk production, universities/colleges, and the industry itself. Moreover, the institute offers targeted education and continued training based on the latest scientific and practical principles.

In this way, the specialists at ineda not only make an important economic contribution to agriculture, but they also manage to exert a positive influence on the ethics of modern livestock husbandry. In addition, the production of high-quality foodstuffs of animal origin also greatly supports and strengthens consumer safety.
